Turkey’s National Modular 350 Ton Capacity Drilling Rig Project is nearing its successful end, as seen at Petrotek’s Konya facility! The construction of the prototype rig has already been completed and rig-up was successfully performed last week.
The TÜBİTAK supported project, with Petrotek as the consortium leader and Turkish Petroleum and TPIC as the client, comprises API-compliant design, manufacturing and commissioning of a full-electric, SCADA-controlled, state of the art 1500HP land drilling rig suited for international oilfield drilling operations.
