1 (one) Ideco 8 Workover Rig in TPIC’s inventory, which had received severe damage to its mast, was brought to Petrotek for repairs. It was determined, upon inspection, that replacement of the mast we required.
Petrotek designed in accordance with API specifications, a new telescopic mast of 103 feet length and 96 ton maximum hookload capacity. The mast was manufactured in compliance with the design of the rig. The new mast was tested, witnessed by representatives of the client, to a maximum test load of 110 tons and upon successful completion of the tests it was handed over to the client on 2018.
